Passion Let Us Here

What’s New!

I’ve been quite absent over the past few weeks– ok, months. Simply said, this is because life has been quite hectic. First, when I came back from Morocco, I had to plunge right into studying for finals, which was a success. I’ve graduated! I officially have my Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Sociology.

Alongside this, I was busy preparing for the conference I took part in in March– a lot of work. Then, in April, after exams, came the time to think about the summer. I wondered what I would do for the months between May and September and decided to take on online work and to do it much more seriously than before. After working online for a few weeks, I realized that there’s a serious market and an increasing demand for ghostwriters. With the number of contracts coming in and the demand for German ghostwriting, I decided to launch “GhostwriteForMe” with a friend and colleague of mine, a business that offers affordable ghostwriting with translations in German, French, as well as Spanish. Stay tuned for more on this as the website is under construction.

For now, I’m concentrating on launching this, and let me tell you, freelancing is challenging. Although I’ve been working and studying online for the past three years, freelancing is something different. Not only do you constantly have to remind yourself that working twelve to fourteen hours a day is unhealthy, but you have to try to convince clients that no, you’re not available for a Skype call at 3 in the morning. Ah, the joys of online work.

Aside from this, I have been preparing for London– yes, this time it’s really happening! I’ve received my new offer letter, my accommodation, and I have all of the German documents necessary. King’s College London, here I come. It may have taken three years of deferrals, studying and interning abroad, but finally it will happen (you can read all about my story here).

All in all, the past months have gone faster than I could have imagined! We are already approaching the end of June and it feels like I just came back from Morocco. That’s what being busy does to you.

Stay tuned to find out more about what’s coming next!
